Went out with Zach on 8/17/25 and it was a great experience. Zach is a pro and made sure everyone had a great time and got us onto a boatload of fish! He has a great boat that is dialed in and he is clearly a captain who is dedicated to his clients’ success. Highly recommend!

Zach was an incredible captain on our trip. Unfortunately, we had to cut it short after about two hours because my girlfriend wasn’t feeling well, but in that short time we still landed four giant King Salmon. Zach was extremely kind and patient, showing us how to set up and fish the right way. I’ve been salmon fishing before without much luck and was skeptical about booking, but I really wanted to get my first King. As soon as I saw the quality gear Zach was using, I felt confident—and sure enough, we caught plenty. I couldn’t recommend this charter enough!

First time ever meeting Shirley and being on his boat was chaos. BUT THE GOOD KIND! I honestly don’t remember how many chinook we caught because it was lights out. Tons of fun. Tons of laughs. He’s an awesome, knowledgeable, kind guy! Well worth it all to be able to get out with him! Definitely recommend!!!!

I had an awesome opportunity to fish with Zach, and everything was flawless. His boat and gear are top-notch, and he knows exactly where to go and how to get fish on the line. By the end of the day, we landed four fish and brought home a beautiful Coho and Sockeye.

It was a slower day on the water, but celebrating my 40th birthday with my brother made it all worth it. Zach was fantastic—he communicated clearly, kept in touch with other guides about colors and techniques, and always adjusted our spots before others even left the area. I landed one fish, and my brother hooked into another that broke off right near the boat. We’re already planning to come back this fall with our kids for a full day. Highly recommend fishing with Zach, and his dog Rowdie was the perfect companion—she lit up every time a rod bent and was just as excited as we were when I landed mine.

Zach is a great guy and truly a professional guide—what a dream job. We met him early and had a wonderful time on the water. My family enjoyed the boat, and we appreciated how attentive he was in trying to get a fish on our lines. It was a slower day, but we still brought home a nice Springer and lost another close to the boat. I highly recommend Zach—he works hard to put you on the fish!

There were plenty of guides to choose from, but we're thrilled we went with Zach! He maintained constant communication, addressing all our questions beforehand. My husband and I had an incredible time on his boat, and by 8AM, we had our maximum limit of chinook salmon from the Columbia River! Zach was well-prepared and incredibly knowledgeable. It was an overall fantastic experience! I had zero experience with fishing, but Zach was incredibly helpful every step of the way. I caught my very first fish, and it happened to be a massive salmon! It was a non-stop, action-packed adventure from start to finish. Don't hesitate to choose Zach as your guide – he's truly the best out there!
